Amazing location, unbelievably comfy beds, hot showers that made me feel brand new. Everything you need for an awesome stay in. The noise from the kitchen didn't affect my sleep in my cool single room. The staff, OMG, they're so friendly! The location is totes close to the center, and there's a shop nearby. And if you have a car, parking is a breeze. The Wi-Fi was legit fast, and the kitchen was spotless. This hostel was super clean, even though it was the cheapest one I found. One small suggestion, it would be awesome to have a little shelf for the upper bunk peeps to put their stuff. The icing on the cake was the owners, they were mind-blowing! They gave us valuable info and even took us on a jaw-dropping tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Seriously, they went above and beyond to make our short stay unforgettable. I'm definitely coming back for more!

The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, making for a jaw-droppingly pleasant stay. The hostel staff were beyond helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to assist us. The availability of bikes for hire was a game-changer, saving us from having to trek into town. The kitchen, though small, was a useful addition and the lady in charge made the most mind-blowing empanadas for an unbelievably cheap price. The location was perfect and the hostel, despite being older, had a refreshing level of cleanliness. this hostel exceeded all expectations and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Free WiFi throughout the property. It was like having a personal hotspot, except without the extra fees and limited data. I was able to keep my Instagram updated with envy-inducing travel photos without any interruption.
Bus ticket mishap.

The nearest airport shuttle was very convenient, saving me from the hassle of finding my own transport. The Nimez Lagoon was a pleasant walk away, offering beautiful views. The Walichu Caves were a bit far but worth the journey.
Who needs a hassle-free stay when you can have unhelpful staff and a disorganized reservation system?

As the cheapest hostel I could find, my expectations weren't high, but it turned out to be perfect for me. the hostel was very clean and had a super fast wifi connection. the kitchen was spotless and well-stocked with cooking equipment. the couple who run the property were excellent and made me feel welcome. They were friendly and happy to chat, and they spoke both Spanish and English. the location was also great, just a short distance from the center of Calafate, with shops nearby. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 😊.

The value for money at Elal was exceptional; it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, close to the city center and with shops nearby. The staff treated me like a valued guest, being friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better was adding more variety to the menu.
